1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the website afklaret.dk, which is operated by:

By using the website you accept these terms. If you order a domain, you accept them as the terms of trade for that agreement. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to write to us.

2. What we provide

We are a registrar for .dk domain names. In practice that means that on your behalf we:

• register a new .dk domain name with Punktum dk, or transfer a domain you already have to us as registrar
• pay Punktum dk for the domain and renew it for as long as the agreement runs
• administer the domain as your agent — but not deletion, transfer of ownership or changing your registrant email address, which only you can do
• provide name servers and DNS for the domain

You are and remain the registrant — the holder of the right of use. That agreement is entered into with Punktum dk A/S on their terms, which are presented to you and which you accept when ordering. You can change both the payer and the agent arrangement at any time in Punktum dk's self-service.

3. Use of the website

Besides the service itself, afklaret.dk carries information about the rules for .dk domains and a domain check. You are free to visit and use the site. You must not:

• attempt to circumvent technical limitations, including the rate limits that apply to the domain check
• use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to collect data from the site at scale
• submit false information in bad faith or in order to harass others

4. Ordering and formation of the agreement

You order by completing the order form and the card step. Along the way you provide the registrant details Punktum dk requires — name, address, email, telephone and, for companies, CVR number — and you accept Punktum dk's terms for the right of use.

You must give correct information and keep it up to date. That is a requirement from Punktum dk, and incorrect registrant details can lead to the domain being suspended or deleted. Write to us if anything changes.

The agreement is formed when we have confirmed your order. We send the confirmation to the email address you provide.

If you transfer a domain to us, you need the Auth ID (transfer code) from your current registrar or from Punktum dk's self-service. We cannot complete a transfer without a valid code.

5. Price and payment

The price is 99,00 DKK/year incl. VAT per domain. If you hold several domains with us, the price per domain falls according to the volume scale shown when ordering. All prices are in Danish kroner including VAT.

Payment is made by payment card. We do not store your card details ourselves — the card is handled and stored by our payment provider, Stripe.

• New registrations are paid for when you order.
• Transfers cost nothing to carry out. You first pay at the domain's next renewal.

The price may change with effect for future renewal periods. We will notify you by email in good time before a price change takes effect for you, so that you have time to cancel.

6. Renewal and cancellation

Domains renew automatically for one year at a time, so that you do not lose your domain by oversight. Payment is taken from the card you have registered.

You can cancel with effect from the next renewal by writing to hej@afklaret.dk. There is no minimum term and no notice period beyond our needing to hear from you before the renewal goes through. Amounts for a period already paid for and started are not refunded.

If you cancel, we cease to act as your registrar and payer. The domain is still yours: you can move it to another registrar using an Auth ID, which you can always obtain from us. If you choose to do nothing, the right of use expires under Punktum dk's rules.

We may terminate the agreement on reasonable notice, and with immediate effect in the event of non-payment or use of the domain contrary to legislation or to Punktum dk's terms.

7. Right of withdrawal

Registering a domain name is a service delivered immediately and made to your specification — the domain name is your choice, and it cannot be handed back. When ordering you therefore expressly waive the right of withdrawal under section 18(2)(13) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. This is stated in the text you accept when ordering, and it applies from the moment the registration has been completed.

If you are acting in the course of a trade or profession, the right of withdrawal does not apply in any event.

8. If we cannot deliver

We order the domain from Punktum dk once you have paid. If, contrary to expectation, the registration or transfer cannot be completed — for example because the domain was taken in the meantime, or because an Auth ID turns out not to be valid — you will be told, and we will refund what you have paid for that domain. You are not liable for anything we have not delivered.

9. The domain check

The domain check on the front page looks up publicly available whois information at Punktum dk. The result is indicative and based on data from Punktum dk's register at the time of the lookup — we do not guarantee that the information is complete or updated in real time, and errors can occur. If you are in doubt about the status of your domain, you can always look it up directly at Punktum dk.

10. Intellectual property rights

Content on afklaret.dk, including text, design, logo and source code, belongs to Insight Logic ApS or is used with permission. You must not copy, distribute or reuse the content without prior written permission, apart from ordinary private use (for example reading and sharing a link to the page).

11. Disclaimer

The website and the domain check are made available as they are ("as is"), without warranties of any kind. We aim for the information on the site to be correct, but cannot guarantee it, in particular for information originating from third parties such as Punktum dk.

We aim to keep the service available around the clock, but cannot guarantee it. We are not liable for downtime or errors at Punktum dk or other third parties, nor for indirect losses and consequential damages, including loss of business and loss of data. Our total liability towards you is in any event limited to the amount you have paid us for the domain in question over the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your inalienable rights under Danish consumer law.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy, we would much rather hear from you first at hej@afklaret.dk — most things we can put right immediately.

If you are a consumer and we cannot reach agreement, you can complain to Nævnenes Hus, Center for Klageløsning, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark (naevneneshus.dk). Complaints about the right of use to a .dk domain name itself fall under the Danish Complaints Board for Domain Names (domaeneklager.dk), not under us.

13. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes that cannot be settled amicably shall be decided by the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret) as venue. If you are a consumer, you may always bring proceedings before the court of your own domicile.
